Phoenix Park

02.04.2025

Phoenix Park is a 707 hectares park in the middle of the Dublin city, next to the river Liffey. It container the following tourist attractions among others: Dublin Zoo: the most popular attraction in the city. The Residence of the President od Ireland: it is the official residence of the Prime Minister (Áras an Uachtaráin in Gaelic) and it was built in 1754. Papal Cross: to commemorate the visit of Pope John Paul II on 29th September 1979. The Wellington Monument: a 62 metres high obelisk to commemorate the victories of the Duke of Wellington. Deerfield Residence: where the ambassador from the United States in the Republic of Ireland lives

Would you like to visit any of the places at Phoenix Park? Which one? Why? I would like to visit Dublin Zoo as I would like to be in a peaceful environment, full of nature and animals, where I feel inner peace and tranquility.
